Koneser Diet – what is it?

We put on weight not because we eat too much but because we eat the wrong foods. This is how the idea of the Koneser Diet came about. Koneser Diet is a kind of nutritional therapy that will help you shed some weight by eating delicious and healthy foods, without ever feeling hungry. Our menu has been prepared on the basis of the Montignac Method, whereby foods are selected according to their Glycaemic Index (GI), not calories.

We have also developed a special diet for those that would like to maintain proper body weight and those that enjoy an active lifestyle. Menu designed for the latter group is especially high in protein and carbohydrates.

Montignac Method

Michel Montignac put forward a theory claiming that elevated blood insulin level was a cause and not, as previously believed, an effect of obesity. In Montignac’s view, excessive insulin concentrations are a natural consequence of contemporary nutrition.

In the Montignac Method, carbohydrate-rich foods are classified into “good” (low GI) and ”bad” (high GI). The consumption of low-GI foods reduces insulin secretion, which supports weight loss and, at the same time, reduces a number of risk factors, such as blood sugar levels, triglycerides or cholesterol.

What is it like in practice?

Koneser Diet is a complete set of balanced meals delivered every morning to the address indicated by the customer. The set consists of two starters and three main courses (including two hot meals).
